Tandy Nurse 

Tandy began her formal dance training at the Boston Arts Academy, prior to BAA Ms. Nurse's earliest start began in gymnastics. While studying at the Boston Arts Academy, Tandy was under the watchful eye of ballet teacher Mr. Jose Sarazen; who has made a big change in her ballet technique. She received the dance award of the Class of 2004. Since graduating the Boston Arts Academy, Ms. Nurse extended her education by attending Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance with a minor in psychology in 2009. Tandy has invigorated her dance career by working with various choreographers such as, Jean Appolon (Haitian folk dance), Danny Swain (Danny Swain Modern Jazz Dance Company), Tony Tucker (StreetHYpE), Adrienne Hawkins (Dance Impulse) Vanessa White (Lipstick Criminals & the Slutcracker) amongst other companies.  In 2013 Tandy ventured into acting, bringing her talent to a new level by taking on the role of acting at Boston Casting where she continues dance, while acting and modeling. Tandy Nurse joined Mystique Illusions Dance Theatre in 2016.

Haissan Booth 

Mr. Booth's first major influences started as a member of Sir David Vaughan Hip-Hop dance troop. Where he street performed and had the opportunity to perform at the Apollo Theater in New York City. By age fifteen Haissan, began his formal dance training at the Boston Arts Academy, where his true passion for the art of dance had evolved. Training in Classical ballet, Modern, Jazz, and West African dance. Haissan was offered numerous Scholarship Awards such as American Ballet Theater, Atlanta Ballet, performing in various works from The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Continuo by Balanchine and Psalm/Mazurkas by José Limon. In 2014 Haissan traveled to Mexico City Cholula for ArcDanz summer intensive on full scholarship and became ambassador of the United States after performing in the Museo Soumaya. After graduating from the Boston Arts Academy, Mr. Booth furthered his dance education at The Hartt School of the University of Hartford. Haissan’s professional credits include Gate City Ballet, StreetHype, and BoSoma Dance Company. Haissan Booth joined Mystique Illusions Dance Theatre in 2016.

Elizabeth Epsen 

Originally from Tucson, AZ, Elizabeth Epsen completed her training at Canada's National Ballet School and the San Francisco Ballet School where she performed in corps de ballet roles with the San Francisco Ballet. She also attended summer programs at the School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet School, and Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell at the Kennedy Center. As a free-lance dancer in the Boston area, Elizabeth has worked with many choreographers including Adriane Brayton, Adrienne Hawkins, Nicole Pierce, Chavi Bansal/Vimoksha, and Anna Myer/Anna Myer and Dancers. She has an ongoing collaboration with the Boston-based saxophone and viola duo patchtax to create experimental performance and video projects. Elizabeth graduated from Creighton University with a B.A. in Philosophy and Art History. She has additionally made a career in arts administration and currently works as Program Assistant for Dance at Harvard University. Ms. Epsen joined Mystique Illusions Dance Theatre in 2016. 

Mary Ellen Liacos

A New Hampshire native, Mary Ellen Liacos moved to Boston in high school to pursue her dance career. She attended and trained at Boston Arts Academy and The Boston Conservatory. She has been fortunate enough to have studied with extraordinary dance educators such as Diane Arvanites, Olivier Besson, Fernadina Chan, Leslie Koval, Daniel McCusker, William McLaughlin, Tommy Neblett, Sheryl Pollard-Thomas, Jennifer Scanlon, Donna Silva, Adriana Suarez, Jimmy Vierra, and Leslie Woodies. She feels honored to have been featured in works by choreographers such as Pedro Ruiz, and Nathan Trice. Mary Ellen graduated from UMASS Boston with a degree in Women’s and Gender Studies and has been recognized for her work in arts and social activism. She currently works as a certified Authentic Pilates instructor in Boston and works in Boston Public Schools teaching dance and creative movement. Mary Ellen is a performer with Anna Myer and Dancers, and Continuum Dance Project. Ms. Liacos joined mystique illusions dance theatre in 2017.

Manny Pagan

Manny was first introduced to dance through Boston’s Ballet Citydance program. Where he had trained in modern, ballet, jazz, and tap. Manny then moved on to Originations Cultural Arts Center studying, the basics of hip hop and African dance. Which proceeded his attendance at the Boston Arts Academy where Manny majored in Dance. Gaining more exposure and Knowledge through dance art which, led to the future of becoming a member of the Jo-Mé Dance 2nd Company in 2012. Performing contemporary works throughout Boston, and the New England Area, New York, and North Carolina. His other professional credits includes working with Contemporarily out of Order. Manny continues to develop himself as a growing artist. Pushing himself with his work in Modern and Hip-Hop dance, with the aspirations of becoming a choreographer. Eventually navigating a path to building his very own dance company. Mr. Pagan joined Mystique Illusions Dance Theatre in 2018.

Sasha M. Krumholz-Lynn was first exposed to dance at age four while living in St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, As an adult, she minored in dance at Boston University. She went on to instruct classes in jazz, ballet, and modern dance in Massachusetts /New England area, and recently Latin dance as part of a workshop for Maasai children in the Enkijape School in Chyulu Hills of Kenya, Africa. Performance experiences include Chien-Hwe Carol Hong company 1000 Virtues, Derrick Davis Dance Co, Impulse Dance Company, LakaÏ Dance Theatre, Tony Williams Urban Nutcracker, Bosoma Dance Company, and Heather Bryce Dance Company. In 2014, she was invited by international Father of the House, “Derrick/Icon Labeija” to join N.Y.C.'s Vogue dance and modeling International House of Labeija, and is now incorporating vogue dance into her modeling and dance forms. Within the last year she has begun teaching intensive ballet, contemporary and jazz classes to pre-professional children and teens at Mass Ballet in Framingham with the RAD ballet syllabus. Ms. Krumholz-Lynn joined Mystique Illusions Dance Theatre in 2016.
